About Shihab
Personalised support for different abilities and goals
Shihab began tutoring full time in 2016 and has since supported students with a wide range of abilities. This includes students who need help securing a pass, as well as those aiming for a grade 9 or strong A-Level results.
Working with students at different levels has helped him understand how to prioritise learning based on the individual. He adapts his explanations, lesson pace and preparation to suit each student’s confidence, mindset and academic targets.
Shihab specialises in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Business Studies. He also teaches Functional Skills Maths at Level 1 and Level 2 and provides focused TMUA preparation for students applying to mathematics-related university courses.
His aim is to help students build stronger subject knowledge, improve their confidence and, where possible, surpass their original academic targets.

Shihab provides focused TMUA preparation for students who need to strengthen their mathematical reasoning, problem-solving and performance under timed conditions.
He has also tutored students preparing for entrance examinations for some of the UK’s most selective schools, including Harrow and Eton.
