About Thomas

Thomas has four years of teaching and tutoring experience, supporting learners from GCSE through to undergraduate Mathematics.
He holds a first-class MMath from the University of Warwick and a PhD in Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University. This gives him the subject knowledge needed to answer a broad range of questions and support students studying Mathematics at a high level.
Thomas has experience teaching and tutoring undergraduates, including helping students prepare for university-level Mathematics and develop the skills needed for more advanced study.
He is friendly, approachable and patient. His lessons provide an appropriate balance of challenge and support, with additional structure provided when a student is finding a concept difficult.
